Protocol for Anesthesia. Susan Church’s personal protocol.
1. Cleanse procedure area.
2. Patch test skin with Glycolic.* and ALL anesthesia's to be used on your client.**
DO NOT USE IN THE EYE AREA!
Follow directions on the bottle!
If redness or swelling occurs - DO NOT USE PRODUCT!
I have been using glycolic pre procedure for over 15 years. It has the smallest molecular structure of AHA's in the fruit acid family. Glycolic Acid removes dead cells by dissolving the bonds and intercellular cement between the skins cells.
This process allows for a rapid absorption of products.
3. I apply 15% Glycolic to procedure area for 3-4 minutes only. Rinse skin
thoroughly.
4. I apply MAGIC with an anesthesia stick and let dry (60 Seconds).
5. I place 1-3 drops of NUMIT directly into my pigment color large cap.*
If I am using a pigment ring, I only add 1 drop of NUMIT to pigment color.
6. Using my machine or hand tool, I make a light pass through the procedure area
with pigment. Wipe pigment off of skin.
7. I apply a light layer of MAGIC with an anesthesia stick. Let dry.
8. I then apply Numquick Pink for 10-15 minutes.
9. I occlude the procedure area to keep the product moist. I use barrier film or cling
film for this step.
10. When my clients time is up, I blot the anesthesia off of the procedure area. Then I
proceed with my procedure.
* These are suggestions ONLY!
The anesthesia steps are my personal anesthesia protocol.
* This is my personal protocol for numbing clients from Susan Church.
Products are for 'Licensed Professional's only.
Use at your own risk.
Adding anesthesia to pigment is legal as we are not using a hollow needle to inject
product into the skin.
** ALL products must be patch tested on skin prior to each procedure!
